I use the Maxon Overdrive OD-9 and Maxon Distortion SD-9
- These are stock models, not modified ones.
These pedals use high-quality parts and they sound great and have true bypass switching.
The tone is much better and clearer than the Ibanez Tube Screamer.
Compared with OD-9, SD-9 has high gain and the mid range is not so strong.
So, the SD-9 can be used in every pickup position.
That’s why I mainly use the SD-9.
I use the OD-9 with rhythm pickup in bluesy style like Stevie Ray Vaughan.

これらは良質なパーツを使用しており、トゥルーバイパスを採用しているので、そのままで素晴らしい音がする。
アイバニーズのチューブスクリーマーよりもクリアーでよいトーンだね。
OD9に比べて、SD9はゲインが高く、中域がそれほど強くないので、どのピックアップ・ポジションでも使える。
だからSD9をメインで使用している。
OD9はリズム・ピックアップでSRV的なブルージーなプレイで使用している。
私はこれらのMaxonペダルをとても気に入っている。本当に素晴らしいトーンだ。
